About Me
Aloha mai kakou! I am an outsider and not a career politician. I am a mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend who cares deeply about the people of my community and my beloved Hawaii.
I grew up in a Conservative household where my parents modeled and instilled values such as honesty, integrity, love of family, respect for others, and a hard-work ethic. I have fond memories of growing up in Kaneohe. My parents worked at Hawaiian Telephone Company and were very involved in our community association as well as sports leagues. I remember rallying with other families to save He’eia Neighborhood Park from demolition in the 1970s and the park
remains in place today.
After retiring from a successful career in Federal service in 2020, I became active with several grassroots organizations as I saw our God-given unalienable rights slowly being taken away through lockdowns and mandates. It stirred a passion in me as a lifelong advocate to get out into the community to “do something!”
I prayed about where God wanted me to serve and after much prayer, long talks with my husband, and close friends, I have decided to run for state house representative.
I am committed to listening to your concerns and developing action plans with integrity and accountability while serving our community.
I have exercised my right to vote since I was 18 years old. My dad always said, “No vote…No grumble.”
My priorities and resources provide a foundation for my strategic plan and the way ahead. I look forward to meeting you on the campaign trail!
